Used a plastic shim made from a Vinegar bottle

Seatpost is I think is 31.6mm while my dropper was 30.9mm

Things to consider:

1.In doing this I have to use a velcro strap to mount my tire to the frame to keep it from unfolding when carrying it up stairs as the dropper post isnt as long as the original seat post that stops the unfolding when the seat is push down.

  1. It made it more convenient to remove my saddle and seatpost from the frame😎 as the original has a flare at the end that stops it from being pulled straight out. With the original you need to remove the saddle from the seatpost and then remove the seat post through the bottom 😩
(This is best when its time to pack up the bike ,knowing I can remove Saddle and post without a tool is a plus)

  2. I can now adjust my saddle height at will allowing me to achieve better biomechanics for efficient pedaling or if Im strolling on sidewalks with alot of stop and go or busy areas with alot of people I can adjust to a height that allows me to put both my feet down and kinda waddle in and out of groups safely until Im in the clear then with the pull of a lever boom Im back to a sporty position🤗
