I picked this up at the weekend .
This cover seems a bit off and pointless .
Is there some kind of gasket it’s attached to in the lower headset or has it been assembled wrong ?
It looks as if it should be on the pedal holder and plug that not nipped in the cup ?
It might have to go back for a look .

Yeah, mine isn’t like that =( The ring is meant to hold it in place and the nubbin is intended to fit in the socket. Isn’t meant to touch the black ring at all.
The gasket should be mounted together with the pedal holder.
Yes , that was my thinking ,
Not really assembled that well unfortunately
…how on earth did they miss that. It’s a super easy fix if you are comfortable dropping the forks OP.
Is this what being hand crafted in Britain means?
