So, about 25 quid to fill Rocky up from empty cuz the fuel light was flashing when I came back the other night. And we are off to the classic car and bike meet at Emma’s CF. And Rev’s on his own because everybody else is joining me there. Excuse me. Right. Quick cough and we’re off. So busy busy day today and it’s been a busy busy week as well at the garage. Absolutely nuts. Fullon week. and oh the joys of being out. And uh one of the guys messaged, “Oh, you’re not out Sunday, are you? It’s your weekend home with Mrs. B.” “No, I’m out.” She has agreed obviously during bike season to let me out a little bit more. We did free last week. So, we did Toxic Throttle on Tuesday, which is on again, I believe, this Tuesday. We did Thursday at Oakley. This Thursday is Loun Arms. And next Sunday is Emma’s calf again. Oh dear. Yes, Rose’s going to be in the doghouse, but I get rest of the days at home with her. She’s good. And we’re rolling out of good old Bletchley. You should have seen it down here last night. I popped out to uh get some Cokes last night. We ran out of Coca-Cola at home. Mrs. B wanted a soft drink, so shot out down the uh the shop about 9:00. Got myself a bottle of wine and a packet of smokes. And believe it or not, this place here was absolutely heaving last night. Pink Punters. Probably one of the best little nightclubs in Milton Kees. Everybody goes there. Little Scooty. He’s waiting for his mates in the gay bar. I want to be a gay bar. I got to remember that song. So, uh, yes, that was absolutely rammed last night. They got seven or five or six different, uh, DJs inside the venue, all in separate rooms. The best ones down in the basement where they do the old drum and bass. They haven’t got a rock room anymore. They got rid of all the rock music. I’m like, “Oh, for God’s sake.” But they got a drum and bass room, which is good because I am off to see Pendulum in August. That’s going to be a good one. Milton Kings Bowl, we got Pendulum. and uh knife party and all the drum. If you happen to be a little bit of drum and bass, I’m a bit of an old retro bike. I used to like me drum and bass cuz I used to do a place called the sanctuary dreamscapes and I used to be one of the drum bass DJs. That was a long time ago. We’re talking 30 years ago now. God, doesn’t time fly? But then became a biker again. So, next week’s really, really busy. EMBA’s Cafe is going to be packed this morning, hence why it’s 9:30 and I’m getting there early to get my position and meet all the boys up there. Best bit being Mrs. B said to me this morning, “Well, if it’s classic cars and bikes, why don’t you take the drone?” So, I have the drone is in the top box. Talking of top boxes, uh little email from Gibby, thank you very much. um can see that your uh paner installation is going really really well on YouTube and we’ve sold 15 sets of paniers off the back of your video. Uh you can now have the panas for free. Thank you very much. And I did inquire about I said, “Oh, do you do a top box as well?” Yes, we do a top box. We can uh obviously get you one, but we can’t give it away for free because you’ve had the panas. I can understand that. I didn’t expect it for free. How much is the uh top box? 450 quid. That comes with the plate that mounts it to the Tiger or your Explorer. Okay, I’m happy with that. I’ll buy it. Uh well, if you want, we’ll do you a little bit discount. You can have the whole lot for 250 quid. So, thank you, Gibby. They got that on the way. that has been paid for, but it could be a couple of months before I get me top box knowing giving because obviously it comes out of Spain. So, my god, what’s up with rev this morning? I’m only doing 60 mph. I’m having just a slow leisurely drive. I’m just enjoying being out on the bike enjoying the sunshine. Wind in me face, helmet’s all nicely cleaned. Got all me bug sprat spray out and cleaned all the bugs off me visor. There goes my That’s one of the boys. Uh yeah, if I’m doing that, I ain’t saying what he’s doing, but Jesus H. He’s motoring a bit. Let’s get a bit of a shifty on. He’s obviously off to Emma’s cuff with the rest of the crew. Yeah, he’s going down there. I ain’t going to try and catch him up. He’s on a sports bike. I know it is. Anyway, I will see him when I get there. We will get the drone out. We will do a little bit of footage. But while we’re doing that, I’ve got a bit of time to do a slightly different ride this morning cuz normally we would go up here, do a left, which is what I’m doing, and then go round the corner to the right. I’m going to do a slightly different route and just show you a point of interest. because I’ve got a bit of time. It’s only 9:33. Emmers doesn’t open till 10:00. So, it gives me 10 minutes or 15 minutes to do a slightly different route. So, if you’re coming up into Woven, we would go right to Emma’s. We’re going to do a left. So, left hand indicator on. Let them know that I’m going down here. Carry straight on, guys. Now, if you happen to have a trail bike and an adventure bike, this is the place to go. Lovely little bit of uh B-roll down here. Loads of people off in the woods walking their dogs and their cars. I’ll come right out. Come back in for him. Don’t scare the dog. But beautiful bit of road. This you can take it. And if you look down there, that in the background over there is the famous Woven Golf Course with uh all the uh fancy golfers. There we go. Woven Golf Course. 15th to the 17th of May is the golf tournament. And can’t think of any golfers now. Jack, Mick, Claus, uh, Sebi Balisteros, Nick Faldo, and all them lot. I can’t remember it. I don’t follow golf that much. I play golf, but once you get to the bottom of here, excuse me. They have shut it at the moment, it’s got a TTRO on it, but it means that you can’t take your car up there, but you can take a bike up there. Well, you can’t anymore, but that used to be the green lane. Check me mirrors. That used to be the green lane up into Ashley, guys, the back end of Woven Sands, but it’s now no cars, no bikes. They’ve put a TTRO on it, which means a traffic regulation order. We can’t go green laning anymore. But if you go up there to the left or down here, there is some lovely, lovely bits of road down here. And obviously it takes me out a little bit further to the back edge of Woven, but then we can go down the A- road and go into Woven that way. So come around here. Now this is quite handy because down here is a little car park. Yes. and it is known for that type of thing at night. But during the day, all of that is open and it is all sandy lanes and there is loads and loads of sand and ruts and bits of wood to ride through. So I normally go down there and have a little bugs in the face, hundreds of the darn things. So that’s a nice little bit of road. And also this bit is a nice little bit of road as well as it takes you down to the back edge of Woven Sands. Now this down here is absolutely beautiful. But the only thing is you got to watch out for the numpy car drivers that think they want to do 60 down here. And you have to watch out cuz there’s a lot of blind bends. So cutting in close to the corner just in case. Eyes around the corner. Get myself out a bit. Have a look. Yep, there we go. We’re clear to go. And you can obviously cross to the other side of the road to get a decent look as long as you know there’s nothing coming, which is what I tend to do. Hook myself out a little bit, have a peek, and come back in. But look at this. 5 minutes out of my house and I am in open countryside and back lanes and green lanes and everything. So, Milton Kes may be a busy city. But all down here is absolutely gorgeous. So, because we’ve come the long way down, all we got to do is do a right here. Jump up onto the road. We’re back on a B- road. Road is clear. Let’s go. Always stop at a junction just in case. Right, let’s get up to speed. Oh, another bug to the face here. That clunk down into the 40s. Nice little restaurant just there called the Birch Pub and Freehouse. Good place to drink in that one. and road works. Oh, look at that. I’m going to sit behind the car. I’m not going to jump to the front of the queue. That is a Toasty thing. That is at the front. That’s where I belong. I will let Toasty do that sort of thing. Rev’s always back here in second place. Tail gun and freeway control. Let’s go. And the best ring garment gives me live traffic reports. Look at that. I’ve got loads of add-ons on this G now. Not that I need it cuz I don’t go that far out, but when I do, it’s handy to know. Right, this comes into the back end of Woven. Fancy fancy Wen. Now down here just off to the left down there is what is known as the lido the local swimming pool but there’s some real nice oldie worldy houses built loads of little orange and green plaques everywhere that is the bell in which is a lovely pub and great food yet again and that is the Bell Hotel. So if you fancy a a weekend in Wen Bell Hotel, little uh restaurant there is now called Marges. It used to be called Nickels and I used to go there for Sunday morning breakfast. Sunday morning breakfast would cost you 20 quid a person, but it was Hoot Cuisine. It was like poached salmon and egg on rye bread. Yeah, the fancy fancy. The woven jail house. We would normally come out there, but we’re going up here. So, Triumph Woben, if it’s open today, I can pick up my tank badge. We have ordered cuz obviously he’s got Rocky’s got a uh scratched tank badge from when we first came when I first got the bike. But now, Triumph Woven have ordered my badge. So, there’s the boys. We’ll go in down here. That’s all the crew there. And there’s all the boys. Another load down there. Nice little Triumph beside me. And of course, a load more over there. So, I’m off home, grab the car, back at the garage, get some wood on board, go and finish my garden fence off, which has only taken me 6 months to do. So, it’s not bad seeing as a perla took me 2 years. But back to work on Monday. Another load of bikes in and I have got some big boys in for servicing next week. Got Ducati 950 desert in. Finish the Vulcan off that I am doing the carbs on and then we will see where we go from there. But busy busy week for me. If you are out this week because it is going to be blistering hot weather. Do take it easy. Now, one thing I am going to say before I go. Obviously, nice roads like this, you can see the gravel quad. Naughty nod. That looks nice. But if you’re on roads like this and you see that the road surface is getting a little bit shiny, be careful. It’s known as tar bleed. So if the road looks literally like just black sticky stuff, that’s called tar bleed. Your bike will not stick and your tires are going to slide everywhere. So do be careful riding on the roads in this weather because tarmac does get hot and the surface starts to bleed the black shitty tar out of it and that is called tar bleed. Your bike will slip all over the place even if you are on decent good tires. So just keep an eye on the road surface guys. That’s a little pointer for you.
