First time wrapping my handlebars. Should I have wrapped the brake cables under the tape? I wasn’t sure if I’d feel the cables under the tape. The loose cables don’t bother me. It’s more of an aesthetic thing. #BikeTape #Bicycle #Schwinn #RoadBike

People hate the middle brake levers I think it’s great and keep it on my bike.
Cables out in the open is fine and a classic look. And it’s the only way you can run them with that kind of brake lever.
Modern levers run the cables under the tape but it’s a different design of lever that makes that possible. When we wrap bars with modern levers, the cables are usually run underneath the bars.
