Hey y’all, I’m new here and was looking at picking up this bike that is local. They have it listed as a Scott Aspect 970. That’s being said I couldn’t really find anything online matching it as I want to know what a fair price is for it. They had it listed at $315 and went down to $300. Would this be a good price for it? Also it is a Large w/ 29” tires. Any thoughts and help I can get would be amazing. Thank you.

$300 seems fair to me. That’s a lot more bike than you’ll get for $300 new. Did they happen to include pictures or list what group set and brakes It has? It appears the aspect 950 came with an Altus derailleur, HG200 9 speed cassette and tektro hydraulic brakes. If it’s not a typo and it actually is a higher level model, it may have better components. Regardless, for 300 bucks you could use the money you saved and upgrade them.
