I was thinking about getting this new frame for my adventures. I tend to load my bike quite a lot so this seems like the right frame for me. My current set up is a Triban RC520 with Shimano 105 group set, 50/34 in the front and 11/40 cassette at the back and trp hydro mechanic brakes.
For this new frame i want to use as much as possible of my current bike. The plan is to keep the 105 levers and rear derailleur since they are doing fine, but the 50/34 crankset has to go because it's not compatible with the frame since it can only accomodate up to 42 teeth in a 2x configuration ( plus I really barely use the 50 teeth chainring). So my plan is to take a grx front derailleur, pair it with a Shimano cues 40/26 crankset. The problem I'm having is that the minimum chain line for the Beyond 2 is 49.5mm and the Shimano Cues crankset has 48.8mm. Will it work out of the box? Are there spacers to adjust the chain line?
I know it will need some fiddling for the front derailleur with this crankset.

Ps: at some point down the road I will probably ditch the 105 rear derailleur and put a grx one ( maybe even put a 11-50 cassette). My current setup works fine but I just find that with 30kgs on my bike and 15% mountain slopes I really have to grind so I want to make it easier for me. I've considered going 1x but I don't want to start to spin out the pedals at 37 km/h plus I would.have to buy new derailleur and new levers ( I think ? )
