Looks fine. If you’ve rear suspension, just check how much slack there is when your shock is compressed fully

Looks fine to me.
Mine runs like that at basically no sag on a 175mm travel rear. It was done with all the right tools and process and it is not possible to add even a single link (inner and outer).
Luckily I have a low chain growth axle path relative to the bottom bracket – but for a hardtail you should be minty fresh bloke. Gets a “send it” from me.
Edit: yes it is possible to add another link, it’s just pretty loose. It’s been like this with both shimano 10-51 and sram 10-52 and xtr/axs mechs, both configurations as per the respective vendor procedure.
