Just got a carbon handlebar from Aliexpresss , after installation I realised the shifter hood are still at very low position even though I have installed at the highest position as recommended by handlebar seller (they recommend to install at the non slip paint area). Have tried earlier to rotate the handle bar to make the hood higher however I find the drop bar position not so comfortable. Now I am considering to install the shifter hood

It looks like the handlebars need to be tilted up in the stem clamp.
Peel back the hood undo the bolts and definitely move them back up
both handlebars and shifters are mounted way too tilted down in my opinion.
