Looking at buying a new bike straight from the shop. These two are comparable in price but looking for input. The Specialized Status 2 170, or the Norco Sight a3 150. Im leaning towards the Specialized but what do you guys think?
High pivot life. It’s not complex it’s refined and sophisticated like a nice French wine.

I can vouch for the Sight. It’s a great bike. The limited bottle space of the Status would be enough to cross it off the list for me. I’ve got my Sight configured burly with 170/160 mm travel, Zeb, and Vivid Coil.

The sight is gonna climb a lot better. So I guess it depends on how much climbing vs shuttling/lift riding you want to do

As I owner of the status 2 170 I have to say it’s a great bike especially for park riding, but if you plan on doing enduro and any uphill might want to look into the other bike more as the status is definitely not a great climber but it’s ok.

I loved my 2021 160 status. They are not great for climbing, but they are not horrible either. I was able to finish a 28-mile MTB race with it. I took it to the bike park often and it performed amazingly.

Just another bike to throw into the ring.
I recently bought the new gen 3 Kona Process 134 and love it! It’s their short travel bike but the long travel Process 153 is also on sale for a good deal.

What type of riding do you plan for these bikes?
