Last time I ride in a bike was probably 10y ago. I’m 32 and just trying to get some healthy hobby. Some research and I’m torn between a brand new trek or 2 used from a reputable local seller ( used I believe but they do a whole check and maintenance on it ). Which one to go for ? Thanks !!!

I would definitely go with a trek fx. The big advantage of the new one looks like disc brakes. Everything on the new one is also brand new. The tires the chain the cassette. If you can talk the guy with the used bike down it might be preferential but 530 for a new one is pretty good.
