After days of rain, Day 5 brings a much-needed change: sunshine at last! ☀️

We follow the stunning River Loire, enjoying some of the most scenic cycling of the trip so far. But of course — nothing goes quite to plan with The Three Amigos… parts of the path are completely flooded, leading to some hilarious moments, soaked shoes (again), and unexpected detours.

It’s a day full of laughs, beautiful views, and finally a chance to dry out — kind of.

📍 Day 5 Highlights:
• Riding in sunshine along the Loire
• Flooded bike paths = comedy gold
• Light-hearted vibes after the chaos of the rain
• Big smiles, big splashes, and a memorable stretch of the journey

Day five in the day room. And where are we heading to today? A place called Well, we would pronounce it anger, but it’s probably NG. Okay. Which is how many miles away? 63.4. Um, it’s what same equivalent distance what we did on day one. Um, with a lot less hills and hopefully a lot less rain. So it should be quite achievable. Good. So I got a bit of go go go juice. Got some go-go juice. Pepsi. All right. Cool. Let’s get packed up. Get roll. So just heading out of Nance along the uh river bank again. Still a bit cloudy, but thank goodness the rain was off. Mr. Richards sunshine head sun. Yeah. [Applause] Okay. Daggers, that point in the right direction, Phil. That pointing in the right direction, they got quiet now. Yeah. Yeah, baby. Yeah, baby. Noise. I thought it was ducks to start. She said there she Neverless up that high. River Luir. Yeah. Hey, you doing it. Hi. that has he gone around. Come on. We have to go. He’s done it. They keep bags on. It’s not going to keep bags on. He caught the tie, wasn’t it? feet. There it is. Stay close to the edge. Mag us. I know. There’s a root there. Are you twice? Come on, Phil. Keep pedaling. Good train. This is for you. Probably not such a good idea. So, we didn’t make it to Angers. It was about 33 careway. All feeling pretty tired. So, decided to pitch up for the night and make an early start tomorrow. [Music]
