Hey everyone, I’m looking to buy my first proper bike and get back into cycling after a 10-year break. Someone is selling a Canyon Roadlite 5 that they say they bought around 3 years ago, but it’s basically just been sitting in a garage ever since. The thing is, I can’t find this yellow color in any of Canyon’s past Roadlite models, so I’m wondering if it’s actually legit or maybe custom-painted?
Also, I’ve heard some mixed things about the older Roadlite frames — potential issues or limitations — so I’m debating whether I should just spend a bit more and grab the Pathlite 5 Mid-Step, which is currently on sale on Canyon’s site. Would love to hear your thoughts — especially if anyone’s owned either of these!
