This was my dream for a cheap and light way to check my tire pressure on the trail, but this adapter doesn’t work with this tire pressure gauge. Anybody know of one that would?
When you screw the adapter on to the valve stem, the edge of the Presta nut should be level with the edge of the adapter. I’ve not tried using a manual gauge, but the only requirement is that it pushes the Presta nut enough to get access to the tire pressure.

I don’t see any need for a pressure gauge on the go. I put my weight on the bike and see/feel the tire pressure.
Pressure gauge is somewhat useful when pumping up the tire get in the right pressure region.
> This traditional pencil-style air pressure gauge was originally included as part of a tool roll kit in the late 2000s. Features markings up to 120 psi and 8.2 kg/cm². Schrader valve compatible — **includes part #1062 Presta-to-Schrader converter for compatibility with Presta valves.**

Why not get a pump with a gauge on it?

Car gauges don’t go high enough, usually.
