throwback to a time i bikepacked to the beach on a klunker. geometry was ass, bike was heavy as fuck, and the ratio was for a fixie.
to be fair, it was only about 120km (to and fro) and virtually flat with a few rolling hills here and there. the front bag wasnt really designed to be on a bike much less that makeshift bucket hat ‘bag’, but with clever use of straps, ropes, friction and gravity i managed to get two days worth of stuff safely attached to the damned thing.
to this day, i believe this was the most xbike thing that i ever did on the most xbike bike i ever built.
