I am into cross country and trail riding. I would like to continue mountain biking in winter. It will be my first winter and I would appriciate some gearing tips.
First of all the boots. I have chose these one [Shimano SH-MW702](https://www.bike-discount.de/en/shimano-sh-mw702-mtb-winter-shoes?number=20120641-40325920)
The biggest concern are the pants. I would like the pants to be waterproof and easy to clean from mud and ofcourse they should be warm. Also I have question here. Is it ok to wear tights with pad under the pants, or there are paded winter pants ?
What gloves do you prefer for winter?
Finally the tyres. Currently I am with schwalbe Wicked Will 2.4 front and schwalbe racing ralph 2.35 rear. I think to buy one more Wicked Will 2.4 for rear. Is it a good choice for winter ?
If you have other winter biking tips that I am not aware of, it will be really grateful if you share.

It would help if you could tell us what the winters are like where you live. For some people the winter means lots of rain and mud, for others it means snow and below freezing temperatures.
