I recently got this saddle from a fairly rusty 60s sears free spirit from a field. I replaced my old padded 88 schwinn seat with it as I snapped that bolt but even as I love this seat's looks as it matches my bike perfectly, unfortunately it wasn't as comfy as I hoped but springs being all rusted together with no padding and the plastic seat pan started cracking; and it doesn't stay still so it flops all about as I ride, as I accelerate it slams back. even if its pretty tight, some genius decided to put it on a circle bolt like I don't think anybody is going to steal it. And that makes it so much worse to tighten.
Anywho; does anyone make a decently comfy saddle somewhat like this that will be a bit better? Or is there a way this one is saveable?
