Almost looks like burn marks? I always wash on cold and hang dry my bibs. The spots where this happens look slightly eroded in the material — you can see more light through them when you hold them up.
Given this is right above the chamois on the back, almost seems like it’d be something that splashed up from the road? Not sure what might cause this that’s sitting on the road though…

And you’re sure this is not due to rubbing on the saddle?
Would be strange that some chemicals splashed from the road caused this.
Bibs could be too small snd you’re stressing the fabric.
Sweat salt?
Do you wash with anything that has Velcro?
How old are they? Looks like the Lycra is showing (those rubber short threads).
