I swapped out my wheel for another wheel, no more noise. Swapped chain, same wheel, same noise. 99% sure it’s coming from the wheel.

It is a dt swiss 140 hub dt swiss wheel, I have taken apart the ratchet thing and regreased it. I’m wondering if it could come from the hub bearings? Or something like the spokes?

It’s rhythmic but not consistent, like it might be every 2 for a bit then every 4 pedal strokes. It doesn’t consistently increase when I put out more torque, but usually it does (sometimes it doesn’t).

  1. It also does not happen when spinning cranks with my hand, only when riding the bike. Happens regardless of sitting or standing.

Seems like it’s a loose cassette or incorrectly spaced/splined? If not that then very unlikely bottom bracket or improperly balanced wheel bearings.
