Morning everyone. Uh it’s Sunday the 4th of May. It’s a bank holiday weekend. Myself and these two chaps here. We’re getting ready at silly o’clock in the morning to drive down to Portsmouth to get the ferry because we are doing the aisle of white randon 2025. Uh going to try and vlog this journey all the way down and across around the island. See you [Music] [Music] there. Heat. [Music] [Applause] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. Hi, morning everyone. We’re on the aisle of white. We started the rand. We got the ferry from Portsmouth, landed in Fishbornne and we cycled over to the first start point which is Wooden. It’s about 10:30 now. So, we’re about an hour and a bit into our ride. only done about nine miles, but we stopped for a coffee cuz it was very cold this morning now. It’s warmed up. Sky is looking nicer. It’s clear. Sun’s out. It’s a very nice day. Terrain so far, it’s been pretty horrendous, actually. Morning. First 5 miles, not 5 miles, even first 5 minutes into the ride, hit a few hills. Scenery is really nice actually. It’s very green. Lots of lots of nice big trees, lots of fields, farms. Really nice. Yeah, I mean I definitely need new bike. New bike time. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] 91. Uh, so this is the second or third stop. Second stop. Second stop. We’re about 22 mi in. Uh it’s taken us quite a long time to get here, but has been very very hilly. Um you see a lot of lots of people here. Everyone stopped. You have to stop at all the stops to get your card stamped. But they got some nice live entertainment over there. Live band and some lovely dancers from the aisle of white. And it’s getting really windy. We’re on the coast and we’re heading towards the infamous military road. We don’t know why it’s called military road yet, but it’s infamous. It’s hilly and it’s long. How many miles is 11 and 1/2? We’ve done 11 and a half miles on average, which is not bad actually, bearing in mind the number of hills we’ve got. Done about 2,000 ft of elevation in 20 miles. That’s pretty good going. Yeah, not bad. Cool. See you soon. This is one hell of a long hill. And this is not even military road yet. I don’t know what hill this is. It’s long, it’s hard, and it’s windy. And this is why we come to the island of white. The beautiful views of the white chalk cliffs, the blue sea, and the green hills. The cycle is forming it down the hill. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat up [Music] [Music] here. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] So, here we are at the junction with Military Road, the infamous Military Road. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Away. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Oh, heat, heat. [Music] So that brings an end to today’s randen in the island of white. We’ve done 65 66 miles, 100 kilometers, about 5,000 ft of elevation, and we all three of us have agreed that was the most challenging day ride we’ve done because of the elevation, the incline, the hills, the wind, the cold weather, and a few other few other undesirable factors. But yeah, it was a good ride and we’re going to put some links on there for you so you can watch our route and some statistics. Like and follow. Like and follow. Subscribe. Come to the aisle of white next year, guys. 2026. See you there. Watch the carnival dancing. We’ll be there. Not
