So I have no clue about bikes but I really feel a passion towards bikes, so I got one. I bought one at a pawnshop and it looks super old but in good condition. I was wondering what I could do to it like maybe if I could change the gear ratio? Or perhaps change it into a fixed gear? And I know I’ll need new tires for the wheels because they seem old. Anyone willing to help me with some tips?

The first and most important thing to do is ride it. You will figure out what you want to do once you have gone for enough rides.
If you are a beginner, do not fix gear it. Unless you live somewhere flat as hell like florida or the netherlands. It will make you hate biking and cause more headaches than fun.
