I am debating between getting the Endurace CF SLX 7 Di2 AR46 and Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2 Aero. With the current "Save 10% with the Canyon newsletter" I should be able to get the "Endurace CF SLX7 Di2 AR46" for $4050. The "Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2 Aero" is currently unavailable (only available on Canyon Outlet site atm), however this has was priced at $4,999 (discounted from $5,699) before it went out of stock.
Both bikes have the power meter, carbon rims(not sure if CF SLX 8 has significantly better ones) and most other components I care about. The biggest difference being the 105 Di2 vs Ultegra Di2 groupset. I am sure I am unable to gauge the difference some of the other superior components offered on the "Endurace CF SLX 8 Di2 Aero". I will primarily be using the bike for solo and group rides (no racing involved). I would appreciate any feedback on whether I should go for the "Endurace CF SLX7 Di2 AR46" given that it is almost $1000 cheaper and currently in stock.

If you’re doing it just for group rides, why would you pay 1,000 more to account for the differences in a group set?
No brainer. Save the $1000 for other goodies and new kits. 105 di2 is more than capable for your stated needs.
Probably just the SLX 7 since it’s the only one in stock. Wouldn’t be worth the wait imo. And probably not the increase in price as well.
As long as it’s still electronic shifting. I went for the aero because I was getting one more bike to last a long time. I’d never add carbon rims, so i figured get them on the bike. but going from an old cannonade to the aero really didn’t make me any faster. i do love the shifting and the brakes tho
