Hi all! Bought an Endurance CF8 Disc no less than 2 weeks ago via the canyon online outlet. Went for the third ride today. At the fastest spot on the lap, just after a long downhill, at 50kmh, right as I accelerated, the bike made an audible crack and I pedaled into the „empty“. At first I thought the chain just went off, but then realized something was making a loud noise. Luckily I broke pretty hard because no 20m later my back wheel came to an almost full halt….
didn’t go flying over the bars or else but scary experience tbh, especially for a beginner like myself
I’ve already send a message to canyon in the hope that they’ll fix it. I guess the part can just be replaced? A bit worried that given it’s shimano they may not replace it?
Any of you with similar issues or experiences?
