I would have it secured against the top tube then tighten it down with the other straps. I find a frame bag more secure sitting against the top and seat tubes.

I also have framebag that is a little too small. Pick two sides and secure them. The third won’t be important if you get the endpoints.

  3. It’s not the correct size. As others have said go custom or check out other manufacturers for one that might fit your frame. Over Negra products are very good and well made. I have a lot of their products. If you don’t want to go custom I would have went with a half frame bag.

You should try folding the pointed end in on itself to shift the bag closer to the front. You’ll have to extend the straps on the seat tube, but you may eliminate the gaps at the top and down tube.

If I was in this setup, I would have the bag fully strapped to the top tube. Maybe skip the first two or three straps against the seat tube and strap near the bottom of the bag against the seat tube. Final strap against the down tube would mainly be near the head tube. Anything hanging near the bottom bracket I would leave alone or cut off if you are willing to.

Like a few others mentioned, try securing right onto the top tube. And then tightening it down with the othrr straps. It might give u the chance to still use a waterbottle cage
. Or space to store tent poles.
