Al was a longtime bicycle tourist who had traversed the USA multiple times over 25 years he was struck and killed on the shoulder of I-80 in Rock Springs WY on June 12, 2023 by a tractor trailer driver who fell asleep. Al was a good dude if anyone has memories of hosting Al via Warmshowers or happened to have encountered him please share any memories or photos.
Al was on a perpetual bike tour of sorts off and on, he was likely leaving Jackson Hole WY after some work to return to Florida.
