Ran over a fairly large screw and decided to replace my tires. When I went to change out the tire on my rim I noticed, that even tho I ordered the same exact size, My old tire is significantly bigger than my new. Any idea why the same size tires aren't actually getting same size?

The tire will look different on the rim because the beads might get pulled in, but that seems wildly different. What is the new tire model?
