Anyone using this rack? The rear wheel mount is maxed out against the stop, and is still not even centred on the rear wheel. Is it okay to use in that position? Bike doesn’t have an overly long wheel base at all, have a hard time believing this doesn’t fit an average sized MTB.
Looked at the XTR and it’s only 5mm longer for max wheelbase, which leads me to believe that wouldn’t work either?

You’ll be sweet. Just holding rear wheel in place so it doesn’t bounce around
I would not. The only thing preventing that wheel lock from sliding off is a screw in plastic. If its rocking back and forth, like maybe on a rough road near a trail head parking lot, then the wheel lock is gonna knock on that screw, which will eventually rip out of the plastic.
That’s interesting. I’ve got the T2, but the rear wheel holder doesn’t need to extend that far, there’s a few inches left IIRC. I don’t think my front wheel is that close to the edge either.
I’d wonder if the bar they gave you is too short (though unlikely)
EDIT: it looks like you’re missing (or haven’t installed) the front wheel cup thing. If you put that on, it may give you several more inches of length
