Remco is not consistent. If you check my comments i always say Remco is an average rider with days
As always Almeida does not get full team support; when have you seen Pogi working in the front before making his attack? Never. Jay Vine should have done the work to position Almeida to win the stage and get GC yellow.
Thanks Chris and Garrett .
❤❤❤
Nice readings from you, just discovered your channel and loving it , keep up the fantastic work 💪🏽💪🏽👏🏽
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Almeida doesn't like to pull for his own UAE team, let alone for others. I think he will jump the UAE ship after this year to be the top GC rider elsewhere.
Serious question….
WHY does everyone like this guy? I can't stand him and the way he rides. All he does is cry and fight with others to do pulls. He's not profie and won't last in the big leagues no matter how many wins he gets. He reminds me of Marcel Kittle. HOT HEAD!
Great stuff, Chris. Your commentary is so exciting, it feels like I am in the peloton !!! ❤ 🚴♀️
Sitting on my IKEA, when you watch Tadej, Jonas, and Primoz – they enjoy cycling. To Remco, cycling seems like a job. Attitude is what makes a really good cyclist a great one. Those that enjoy what they do will always do better than someone who just looks at it as a job.
I have a theory
When Horner stops talking
His brain starts to work
Off subject from the video, but can you do a video diving into what happens with contracts and negotiations when there are riders like Pogi and teams like UAE dominating? Do you, as a rider, lose any leverage because you "don't have any results"? What do you do to stay alive as a non-mutant rider but still at the pointy end of the results? Love the videos and insight.
I find that Remco's face didn't look good at the interview. Like he overstreched the day. At least. But it's only an impression.
as i predicted, almeida dropped remco. but then he bottled the sprint a little, and martinez deviated to block him. he should have won that sprint..
Remco is fine I think, but who am I ? He didn't have a winter to build (inhoud = Dutch/Flemish) …. And that is what he has been doing this week…
He's just a guy at work in order to improve long term…
Love your channel Chris (Brandon), keep up that good work… Grt E.V
I hate seeing crashes. It’s hard for these guys to be 100% after a bad crash or multiple crashes. That’s why I was so hopeful to see Bernal come back, these guys really sacrifice at those speeds. Hope RE comes back solid. We need all the fastest guys we can get
Remco will never (at least not now) be able to challenged Jonas and Tadej when they are in their tip-top shape at TDF. Carlos Rodriguez.. wow.. haven't seen that guy for long time…
Quickstep rely too much on Evenpoel after they no longer focus on spring classics. They cannot afford him to ride for feelers to get into shape at ease etc. I can imagine that this does not help him to be confident and race with ease returning from bad injury time after time. The old Quickstep had 3 to 4 riders that can win a monument or win grand tour stages. The pressure in the wolf pack used to be split more evenly.
Evenapoel has never had the resilience quotient. His lack of winter training exacerbates this lack of form.
I'm thinking Jonas could only win the tour if primos was his superdomestique. He needs a rider who can hold on to tadej wheel like Richie Porte held on to contadors wheel.
