I got this bike off marketplace a couple weeks ago but just noticed this dent when I was washing it today. It's a "7046 superlight butted aluminum frame" but I'm slightly freaking out about it and would like to hear other opinions 😅. Also crossposted to r/bikewrench

Lots of people do
My tour bike which is steel has several dents. They’re not putting the frame at risk as they’re not cracks. As long as it’s not cracked, you can expect multiple dents if you use it a ton. Also, paint will chip. You can’t avoid it.
