Looking for a new hardtail mountain bike with hydraulic brakes, a single chainset in the UK market.
Some of these have cues and some deore but I don't know which is better?
I don't know which have the best forks?
Which is the best bike overall? I don't know much about rest of the components, this will be first proper bike purchased as an adult.

i personally have 2 rockhoppers, they are literally bulletproof, tho I must say their components arent the best, cheap brakes suspension etc…
but damn they get the job done, in my opininon one of best bang for buck in hardtail category, especially considering that specialized is a pretty pricey brand 👍
(btw i also recommend taking the “comp” version, it costs a bit more and is more mtb focused because of single speed on the front and better shifter in the back)
You’ll likely find the Boardman offers the best value for money.
Specialized has shit components. And apart from that is a Specialized. Mundane and vanilla. Like a VW.
