This bike was given to me and I was wondering if any of you had info about the year of production? It came equipped with Shimano 200GS front and rear derailleurs, cantilever brakes and Shimano STI levers.
I believe this was one of the lower end trekking models.
Thanks in advance!

[200 GS](https://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/Manufacturer+Archive/Shimano+Archive/Catalogues/1990/SCAN0029.JPG.html) was in production from 1990-1992, it was Shimano’s entry level groupset at the time.
Bianchi models in the USA at the time had different model names and frame designs, so I am not familiar with the model. Usually less expensive frames would use straight gauge chromoly steel in the main tubes, but might use a less expensive, slightly heavier, high tensile steel fork and chainstays. Still a nice bike, just a bit heavy.
The ergonomics of the 200GS brake levers was not my favorite, always felt like bulky plastic to me.
