If you don’t want it, I do. It’s a beautiful machine and I’d like to have a bike of that vintage.

Looks super clean. Probably stored indoors. Honestly it might just need air in the tires and oil on the chain. Maybe double check the brakes are operating. Lovely old bike. Wants to be ridden.

The photos are pretty dark so the only thing that I can see needs replacing is the saddle.

I’ve no clue about the value but it’d be a fine bike to ride around on.

  5. Nah it’s useless. I’ll help you get rid of it. I’ll even pay for shipping.

Someone will want that bike. IDK if you’ll get much money for it, but it’s absolutely worth saving. You will do better selling to someone that knows about bikes, or fixes them up.

It looks like a mid level 1970s “touring” bike. It has a great crank, which suggests the rest of the components are at least ok. French bikes like that could be very desirable with the “Jan Heine / Ranndonneur” crowd, especially if they don’t have a lot of money. They can have a real vintage french steel bike with a little work. If it’s in good shape, all that metal should polish up very nice.

You need to figure out what size it is by measuring the seat tube and top tube in centimeters, and taking the “stack” and “rise”. It will make it a lot easier to sell. Also measure the wheels to see if they are 700c or 27″ wheels. [https://sheldonbrown.com/rim-sizing.html](https://sheldonbrown.com/rim-sizing.html)

You should list the maker of the derailleurs, and the model of derailleurs if you can find that.

I used to have the same one. I turned it into a 3 speed townie. It was great for groceries and errands. Super comfy. Very compliant.
