I designed this 3D printed holder for my van so I can easily transport bikes. It is mounted on the divider and you just reverse the bikes in. I designed it for 40 mm tires but can make it for lager if anyone is interested. Let me know what you think. Can be downloaded from here for free:

Is it perpendicular to drive direction? If yes aren’t you scared that you destroy your wheel by braking hard? Maybe you could also put a wood bar going through the van which holds the bike at the saddle and the handlebars, with a similar attachment.
