  2. Sure certain things are right but don't over do it. Our country is invaded as so many others from immigration who bit by bit destroy the country and it is so sad. Do not talk about prices for housing food or other you are way out of line.I am 75 and Belgium as it was will never be so good anymore sorry. People should not be fooled try a holiday and you find out.

  3. I'm flabbergasted 😳
Coffee as an excuse to slow down???? Are they serious????
And that part about us women…. ???? Hilarious!
Like we are still writing love letters on paper….
More cookin' a nasty brew to curse an ex lol!
Bij elke koffie een pralin eh!!
En op valentijn lope we allemaal rond als verliefde bakvissen hahahaha!!!!
Ik denk datem beter terugkomt filme binnen een paar maanden… met een kogelvrij vest en trumpy

  4. posted 4 days ago, if it was a video of 5 years ago I would maybe agree with the 1600 to 1900 living 'comfortable', but not anymore. I need to co-house, otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford living 'alone'

  5. Intresting, I didn't know cats were used to deliver love letters. I know they were used to deliver small objects and notes in the Middle Ages and the early modern period, but it was not the most common form of communication.

Indeed, Durbuy has winding streets that remind one of the Middle Ages. Durbuy is known as the smallest city in Belgium.

The Manneken Pis statue in Brussels has been involved in theft and vandalism several times in the past. The most famous incident occurred in 1745. French troops stole the Manneken Pis statue during the War of the Austrian Succession, a conflict in which France was involved against Austria and its allies. At that time, Belgium (°1830) did not yet exist.

Whoever can use some luck should also consider a city trip to Mons or Bergen (Wallonia). Walk past the monkey of Mons (the statue near the town hall). If you gently stroke the monkey's head and make a wish, you're very likely to see that wish come true.

  6. Ok
If there's no traffic maybe you could go to paris and back
Of course Belgians can't switch languages, most speak one language and have an understanding of a second or third. I speak Dutch and French and understand German. (and english ofcourse)
I don't think he has a clue about Belgian women.
The people of Bruge live like everyone else in Belgium, they live mostly from travelers.
Durbuy is small town for vacationers.
Coffee – you can get it everywhere – I don't know the cafe that is only open when it rains?
    Never heard about the cats.
I was born in Brussels, don't like it, it's too busy. There are nice neighbourhoods. Lol transportation moves gently, because of all the trafic probably.
Belgium chocolat is good, because there are rules how much cacao there should be in it.
The ghent festival – de Gentse feesten zijn wel heel goed. – They are great
Cost of living – Belgians are born with a brick in their stomach they say. But it's not cheap.
A dental visite – you will have to wait 1/2 year, because we are all obliged to visit it once a year and therefor they are nor able to see you.
Our kitchen is good, I agree

  7. Oh my….lots of people said it already, but I have to say it too. This video is full of kaka… I came from Hungary to live in belgium more than 10 years ago. It is better than my motherland but way far from this "fairytale like" look.
Not to mention, after corona, the prices are high in the sky, and it is hard to get the basic shopping on average price.
Restaurants were never so cheap, neither… nor even before corona.
IT IS a pretty country, but they're far from friendly and really racist against foreigners. I speak the language, got my diploma here, and STILL! I face racism EVERY DAY.
But I agree, it's a beautiful country even if it's not a fairytale country 😅

  8. I dont know were you get your info from but the livingcoast, food, rent etc etc, let me educaat you (and if you do your homework right studies back this up) we are living in times were there almost no suiteble housing anymore, people often use more then 46% of their montly income just for rent, this does not include water, gas, electricty, insurances, etc etc, …food… some foods are taxable on 19% (those are normal thinks, let's not get fancy😂) a regular family spends 4 persons ( according due to studie) spends between 750 and 1000 a month, our phones? We have one of the (i believe we are in the top 3) most expensive memberships across the EU, then you pay little small thing here and there, but then comes the biggest pain in the ass, our taxes…..i wish living in Belgium as you portraited but it's not..but all "jokes" aside your always welcome 2 visit❤
