Brand new bike with e-13 wheelset that will sometimes make a light clunk or pop sound when I start pedaling again after coasting. My guess is that every now and again one of the pawls isn't fully engaged and slips, causing the pop sound. It doesn't happen every time, only a handful of times each ride, but this isn't a sound I've had on previous bikes. Is occasional pawl slippage normal, and if not is there a fix for it? Also, I'm not 100% sure the freehub is the cause, so definitely open to other ideas (chain, cassette). Gravel bike with 1x Sram Force and Eagle cassette.

Only way to find out if it’s a pawl is to take the free hub out, and then clean and re-grease. Otherwise check the simple things like loose axle or upside down chain master link
