Hyalite area, Montana. Covered about 9 miles of pavement to get to nicely packed spring snow at 7K'. Was really surprised how solid it was at ~55F, and I'm on my "skinny" 4" summer tires too.

Nice! Every time I’ve ridden the paved portion, it’s mushy by the time I get to snow line.
