Those are replacements for already installed pieces inside your helmet, they’re just firmer or softer, don’t remember which are pre-installed. They won’t change your helmet size but just slightly adjust fit, so if your helmet is too big – size down
You remove the pads that are already in and replace them.
I’m sure a quick Google can help you rather than waiting for people to state the obvious
