Recently purchased P Line Electric with roller racks , we added a pair of conventional front wheels for when we travel but cannot take the batteries.
No problem fitting the conventional front wheel, got 12mm and 13mm ID plastic caps off Amazon to cover the exposed plug and socket on motor cable.
The difference in weight is 1.8kg. The bike with batteries 15.9kg , minus battery pack 13kg and with conventional front wheel as opposed to motor wheel the weight is a respectable 11.2kg.
Rides well, noticeably light to handle / carry. So about 1kg more than a P Line but lighter than a C Line or an A Line and that’s comparing a bike with a rack to one without.
Gearing with the 54T chainring is fine for modest hills without the battery.
It confirms my feeling that the battery causes no significant drag when riding without motor assist.

GGs and thank you, shall be picking up a front wheel myself. And thanks for the nod to the amazon caps 🙂
