I've only ever used more expensive Park Tool stands, but now I'm in need of something affordable for the occasional truing job at home. Will this work or do I have to invest triple and buy a park tool knock-off?
I know about the cable tie method, but I only use it in emergencies for lateral trueness.

Have been wondering the same myself the last couple days. Normally I’m a believer in buying quality tools but for something like this, which I won’t use frequently, I’m looking for a usable cheaper (Amazon) alternative
