I was riding some woods yesterday, nothing special and two rim spokes at the same time, completely went thru the rim. It was not clear to me that anything like this was possible, nothing came between them or anything similar.
It should be a decent quality rim also, Sunringle Duroc40 .
Any advice or opinion what could be the problem here?

Get a new rim or wheel. This one is done. It’s probably been cracked for a while and just died now.
Was it rear wheel? How many spokes?
Something must of been caught in the rim and spokes, check the frame of any signs of this.
Time for a new wheel.
Nipples will pull through rims from time to time on some cheaper rims. Sun Ringle is pretty decent stuff. You could reach out to them and ask if there is anything they could help you with, like replacement or partial replacement. You absolutely need a new rim/wheel. I would not recommend riding on that anymore.
New bike time.

This happened to me on my Trek Stache, local bike shop sent them back to the manufacturer got a new set, might be worth a try
who built the wheel? maybe tension too high on those spokes and it eventually cracked thru the rim? I agree with others to at least send in a request to sunringle to see what they will do. though if all they do is send a replacement rim I could get why you would be hesitant.
