I’m a woman, 1.73 m tall with an inseam of 84 cm. According to Canyon, size S would be the right fit for me.
On my regular road bikes, I ride a size S, but on my mountain bike (Specialized) I ride a size M.
I also used to have a Cube Axial road bike in size 56 and was happy with it.
Now I found the Canyon bike I want used, but it’s in size M — that’s why I’m wondering:
Do you think an M could still work for me? Has anyone experienced how big the difference really is? Thank you so much!!

If canyon says S, go with S. If Canyon says M but barely, still go with S. Their sizing runs large, and especially for an Aero roadbike you will regret going with a frame thats too big.
Also, im just as tall with the inseam and would absolutely go with S for me, given that we are closer to XS than M on the chart. Only reason I didnt go XS for my Endurace is that I want 28 inch wheels.
Are you right near the edge of S on the canyon size chart?
use the sizing configurator for this exact bike (for women), it may have different component sizes despite the sizing label (please check)
