I’m Nick Sanders, and I’m riding 30,000km through every country on the edge of Europe— on Royal Enfield’s brand new Bear 650.
This is the biggest ride I’ve done in years — from the UK to the Arctic Circle, through the Mediterranean to the borders of Ukraine and north to scandinavia — documenting life on the road, wild camping, and sharing the ups and downs of long-distance adventure travel.
It’s my first time back on a Royal Enfield since I rode a Bullet 500 around the world in ’92. After 25 years with Yamaha, I’ve come full circle — and the Bear 650 has completely won me over. It’s light, simple, and full of the kind of character I love in a bike.
🎥 In this episode, I ride deep into the Picos de Europa mountains in northern Spain — one of the most breathtaking and challenging parts of the journey so far. Think rugged peaks, twisting roads, wild horses, and the kind of solitude that reminds you why you travel in the first place.
I’ll be posting a new episode every Wednesday evening, so subscribe and follow along for the full story. Got ideas, questions, or just want to say hello? Drop a comment below — I’d love to hear from you.
Let’s celebrate the pure joy of riding.
In Gut We Trust.
