  1. Maybe fortunate but not lucky…you’ve done a lot of hard work (with the TdF to come) to get where you are…and a personality that people like. Keep going and very well done.

  2. Iv'e just found your channel and watched the cycle from Derby to Wales. Really good content. But here is a "did you know". On the Road out of Port Madoc towards Capel Curig there is another cafe just a few miles out. I went in there a few years ago for a tea and a piece of cake. Later my brother told me that it was owned by Eric Jones, one of greatest solo climbers of all time. A guy who for his 65th birthday "Base Jumped" into a cave. I bought a cup of tea and a piece of cake from him and I didn't even know it was him. My hero and I didn't recognise him. I'm in Bala right now windsurfing.

  3. Amy; great effort today and I’d say a slight reduction in average speed is a reasonable trade off for your vertical ascwnts , I’ll also chime in that lucky isn’t quite the right word for your success; you’ve worked hard for your recovery and to position yourself for a career change into YouTube and cycling. I’m glad the swelling was better today in your hands but I also want to caution that not only are there dangers in drinking only water for hydration during exertion. There are also dangers of putting to much electrolytes in to your body as the case may be with the individual who will take 4 electrolyte tablets at once and your body will excrete the excess anyway. You’re absolutely right that finding the schedule that works best for you is the best. that last town you rode through was beautiful and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us tomorrow:-)

  4. Great views again. Love those kinds of clouds; we have those under certain conditions here in Northern California. You're looking stronger and more relaxed on the bike all the time.

  5. Don’t have any doubts about what you are doing, there are very few people who can do the miles you do day after day & to keep your enthusiasm for it. Great videos as always!

  6. Nice route! I was wondering when you do the tdf route how will you handle the last stage in Paris?

I can't imagine it being much fun doing laps when the road is open to cars ?

  7. What a spectacular ride Amy, the scenery was just incredible👌I just love fast downhills and when you have views like that it makes it so much more special👍I'm really looking forward to my 100 miler tomorrow now, it looks like it might rain but I don't care😉

  8. As much as I enjoy your Training in Spain videos (and I enjoy them greatly), I really do miss Kyle not being there to ride along with you. You are truly the 'yin' to Kyles 'yang'! 😊
