For context, I am trying to find a used bike that would help me in my first triathlon, I am not competing to finish first, but just want to get started and have a budget of $400. I found a Trek SLR Road bike size 54 online and this person who is selling has a description that is:
"good working condition, comes with Shimano 105 sets system, continental GP4000 tires, Shimano R500 Wheelsets"

If everything’s working well seems like a good deal to me.
It looks well maintained but I would personally try to negotiate in $200 neighborhood. It’s a beautiful bike but appears to possibly be from 2008-2011 era. Hopefully someone with a keen eye can nail down the year.
Old alloy road bike, its nice! If it rides fine, its a good deal. Expect small things like new tires, chain, brakepads.
