110km British Gravel Cycling Adventure | New Forest, Wiltshire & Dorset
Join me for an unforgettable 110km gravel cycling adventure across three beautiful British counties: Hampshire, Wiltshire, and Dorset! Starting in the stunning New Forest, this ride takes you along the Castleman Trailway, through Moors Valley Country Park, Verwood Forest, Cranborne Chase, historic Shaftesbury, the North Dorset Trailway, Blandford Forum, and finishes in charming Wimborne.
Expect a mix of classic British gravel, from smooth champagne gravel to rugged field edges, plus the most exhilarating road descent in Dorset!
I cycled this route on a mountain bike but it would be great for a gravel bike, nothing you wouldn’t find on the King Alfred’s Way or South Downs Way.

Why did you not ride the route on a gravel bike?
Lots of familiar routes there! For a gravel ride probably be better to carry on the trailway after Blandford as it runs down to Spetisbury where you can go over a nice scenic bridge over the river and back onto your route into Wimborne
