As the title says: the bottom of my shifters are touching the rack. Is the answer to use a wider bar? I’d say the bottom 1/4” of the shifter is touching. I have a 44cm Ritchey Ergomax on there now, and I have a 46cm Ritchey Beacon coming in the mail to try.

What if you don’t have the hoods turned in quite so much, does that help? I find I can bunnyhop smaller obstacles so much easier in the hoods when they are closer to straight forward rather than turned inwards. I’ve never really understood why the norm seems to be setting them this way.
Sorry no. Riding ergonomics trumps cargo capacity. The solution is to change the rack/box.
Can you move the basket?
i’d look into getting a bar with more rise, maybe the top shelf by redshift or a stem with more rise
Switch the basket around the other way, or use a different basket. Bar end shifters are an option.
Turn the basket 90° and bob’s your uncle.
Wider bar might or might not solve the problem.
Only one way to find out.
Cut the sides of the basket.
Might not need a wider bar per se, but one with some flare on the drops could help.
