Sandro’s challenge for us was to create his dream climbing bike for alpine tours.
We chose the SIKA frameset from FIFTYONE — weighing just 800 grams.
An ultralight wheelset with BERD fiber spokes — 880 grams — and other lightweight highlights like the ELILEE crankset at 274 g, 95-gram chainrings, and SCHWALBE tires at just 240 g.
The final weight on the scale: 5740 grams.
