Just got my bike about a week ago and have been enjoying riding alot. I would to get a gyro brake system but have no idea about brakes. Any affordable, high quality brake recommendations? Also what do I need to purchase for basic bike maintenance? My last question is what tire pressure should I be running? My tires are rated for 60 psi, and I'm currently running about 45 psi but i found them to be soft. Can I safely run 60 or should I look into getting new tires?

I would suggest a higher PSI rated tire if you’re at 45 on a 60 tire and it’s too soft. Yes you can run 60 probably safely for a little but who knows how long. I’m running 100psi Odyssey tires at around 85 and they’re perfect. Brakes I’d always suggest Odyssey Evo setups. Some of the best brakes for the money but can’t really suggest a gyro as I’ve only ever used odysseys sealed unit and they’re expensive and don’t fit every frame.
Most gyros are the same these days- I think the one I have is a fit gyro- its fine. Does the job. It’s kind of like brake cables and pegs where a lot of times they’re coming out of the same factory with different logos screened on.
Brakes- Odyssey Evo, all day. I run the 2.5s so I can run a wider tire- I also run ghost clear pads. They’re loud but they grab awesome.
