I’d like to make an announcement. On the 28th day in May in the year of our Lord 2025, at 36 years of age, I changed a bike tire for the first time. Not only did I do that, I fixed the rear wheel gear set all by myself (they were loose 😆). I shall treat myself to ice cream tonight. 😌

Humongous leap in self reliance. Once you’ve done it you can do it anywhere. Being able to patch or replace a tube and get back on the trail is one of the things that makes bikes so cool.
