Finally got the chance to build myself a drop bar hardtail… it was trickier than I thought it would be lmao (mostly because of brakes and fit) It's a rocket ship and I can't wait for it's maiden voyage

I did this to a S-Works Epic HT as an alternative to my Crux for adventure racing. It performs on gravel sections much better than I anticipated.

Fun build. I saw Gen 1 Procal frames on mega clearance and had a similar idea. Vallnords roll terribly even though they look fast. Peyote or Thunder Burt could be some good fast rolling options. Enjoy the bike!

What chainring size is that? I’m guessing if it’s less than 38t you’re gonna want to bump it up.
