Are there any manuals/videos/posts explaining how to deal with that plastic thingy on Grizl aluminum frame when replacing cables? It's placed right between bottle cage mounting bolts. I might have to replace rear brake cable but I wonder how tricky it could be. AFAIK, this plastic "bolt" is only used in aluminum, not carbon frames.

I saw a similar plastic thing between bottle cage bolts on my carbon Ultimate

It’s a PITA! Just replaced my rear brake hose recently and went through this.
It’s a small zip tie that goes around the hoses that is held in place by that little part that drops into the frame through that hole.
Hopefully there’s a super simple way to do it that someone can tell you! My way was fiddly and profanity laden.
I removed mine prior to new hose routing since the new hose wouldn’t make it through the route of the existing hose. Pulled it out and cut the zip tie. Straightforward.
To get everything back together, I bent a spoke into a hook shape.
Used the hook to pull all the cables to one side and then used a park tool IR1.3 – dropped in the blue string and used the magnet to loop around the bundle of hoses/cables (brake, dropper cable and shifter cable).
Then used that loop to pull a zip tie around the bundle.
Taking great care not to let it pull into the frame (I did this several times….) I made up the zip tie around the little frame holder just outside the hole.
Pulled it tight as I put the holder back into the frame and snipped off the excess.
Success and no rattles!!
Best of luck.
I was able to reroute mine by pulling the clip up enough to expose the zip tie and just route through it. The better approach is to just snip off the zip tie and put in a new one. You should be able to pull the plug up enough to get to a good place to clip (be careful of the brake lines)
It’s on almost every Canyon frame. The rear brake hose is secured to it with a zip tie which you can see in the center of the clip. I haven’t tried to remove it, but I expect that if you cut the zip tie, the clip will pop right out of the frame. You’d need to zip tie the new hose to the clip when you replace it.
